- NTV journalist Janet Mbugua has alerted her followers to an online scam involving someone impersonating her on social media. The impersonator, using her name and photos, even attempted to con a senior public official. Janet shared the scammer’s phone number and urged anyone receiving suspicious messages from that account to ignore and report it. She emphasized the importance of verifying identities through her official channels and thanked those who helped flag the fake profile.
