Entrepreneur and car enthusiast Joseph Kairu Wambui, popularly known as Khalif Kairo recently gifted out a vintage 2002 Volkswagen Golf to a lucky X user who participated in a challenge that he had put out asking netizens to compose a romantic poem for his fiance Cera Imani.

One particular individual identified as Jimmy Kafangi ignored the social media noise, wrote a poem praising Cera, and actually bagged himself the vintage German machine. Something he is still in disbelief about.

Speaking about his lucky win and how he came across the tweet the young man said it was all a coincidence.

"I was in the rooftop chilling just enjoying the vicinity, and in that moment I was like let me just scroll through Twitter. So I see his tweet and ignore it then I see the quote, like he had retweeted his post saying he was really serious about gifting out the car.

Seeing that I decided to try my luck," Jimmy said while speaking with YouTuber 2Mbili.

The young man went on to add that he is willing to part with the gift for a hefty sum of Sh. 10 million shillings. Kafangi notes winning the ride hit him in shock waves as when the year began he had not seen himself owning a car.

"The V in Volkswagen ya hii gari yangu stands for Vintage and the W stands for win. To be honest, a car isn't a small thing.

When Kairo texted me telling me to send him my details I was in shock, I even told him that I did not believe him or the fact that this is happening. I had not envisioned owning a car this year. I had a lot of anxiety," the young man joyfully said.

Kafangi went on to reveal his dream car is an Audi and the only way he would be parting with the VW is if someone coughed up Sh. 10 M.

"Hii gari kuiuza kama huna 10 M wacha tu, wewe enda tu ukitembea. I have put up that price because I low key don't want to sell it but if someone can match up the price then I will be willing to let go of this vintage ride," said the lucky winner.
