Kush Tracey is celebrating her growth in a major way. The ex-singer on her social media, dedicated a TBT photo collage of herself when she was secular compared to her journey spiritually.
That has been a five-year journey where fans have watched her grow from 2019 to 2024.
"I did things the world told me to do in order to be 'more beautiful', 'more sexy', “more attractive' , spending time trying to look like what part of the media 📺📱(what I was consuming then) portrayed to be the ideal 'hot girl' to an extent of bleaching my skin but still felt not enough as per the “standards” I was trying to live upto."
Her first picture in 2019 showed a young singer who loved to wear shorts and enjoy the good life,
"😢I had the 'perfect mask', “self-confidence', 'girl on a roll', seemingly 'empowered woman' but the reality is in the midst of the identity confusion, I was actually searching for meaning, purpose, validation, acceptance, unconditional love but in a misguided way😏"
Kush had to take a step back from the spotlight and mentioned a phenomenon that happened
"As I diligently sought God, I found Jesus who referred me to The Holy Spirit (The helper, The guider, The comforter, The clarifier, The teacher) whose presence in my life has given me mental clarity over a lot of things, a fresh perspective on life, a deeper sense of worthiness that is not earthbound, a clear sense of purpose & an ambition to pursue a meaningful destiny."
Her transformation has been successful,
"All this to simply say that my coming to Jesus did not erase my past but it has definitely redeemed & redefined it. God can use anyone & any circumstance for His glory. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."
